Tyler FisherThe Burnett Honors College offers a limited number of scholarships each year on a competitive basis to incoming freshmen. These scholarships are awarded to students once accepted into the program based on merit and time of application. Continuing Honors students are also eligible for scholarships of varying amounts awarded through the program on an annual basis. Scholarship opportunities will be announced via e-mail, and posters will be displayed in The Burnett Honors College office areas and classrooms.

The Burnett Honors College assists students interested in participating in internship opportunities. For example, the Burnett Honors College is active in placing students in internships with the Washington Center. Upon request, internships of at least six upper-division credit hours granted by an accredited institution with out-of-state placement may substitute for one Honors Interdisciplinary Seminar.

Also housed in The Burnett Honors College is the Office of Student Scholarship and Fellowship Advisement (OSSFA). OSSFA serves all UCF students who apply for prestigious scholarships such as Rhodes, Truman, Goldwater, and Marshall. Interested students may contact Ms. Lisa Sklar in BHC 103 or by phone at 407-823-0325.
