About
The President's Scholars Program was initiated by UCF President John C. Hitt to provide an Honors study abroad experience to the highest achieving Honors students at UCF. President's Scholars receive full funding for travel, room and board, and excursion costs for a unique summer study abroad experience. The only program expenses borne by students is a $400 non-refundable deposit required to reserve a seat in the program.

Each year, TBHC selects on a competitive basis up to 12 President's Scholars for participation in the program. Eligible candidates must be University Honors students in good standing who, at the time of application, have two full years to complete at UCF before graduating. Qualified students must also have a minimum overall UCF GPA of 3.8. President's Scholars are selected on the basis of their academic achievement, campus and community involvement, and their commitment to engaging in study-abroad as a transformative experience.
